Al Widaa Yaa Ramadhan

O Blessed guest, O yearly visitor, O gift from Allah, Farewell for yet another year. We pray that Allah allows you to grace us for another year to invigorate our hearts and souls once more. Our hearts are saddened that you have left us yet again yet overjoyed that we have been blessed with your presence for one more year.

O Allah, our Lord, O Merciful, O Compassionate, O Forgiver of sins, O Pardoner, O Generous One, we Praise You with Praises which fill the heavens and the earth, and still our praises will not be enough. All Praises and Thanks are due solely to You O Allah. You have blessed us and showered Your favour on us. Praise be to You for making us Muslims, for granting us the blessing of Ramadhan and allowing us to complete the fasting of it’s days and the prayer of it’s nights.

O Lord, O Turner of the hearts, Make our hearts steadfast on Your deen.

O Allah, those who meet with Ramadhan and do not achieve Your forgiveness are truly at loss, Make us of those who are forgiven and shower Your Mercy upon us. Help us to maintain the levels of Imaan and Taqwa we have worked to gain during Ramadhan. O Our Lord, let not our hearts be swerved after You have guided them.

O Lord, free us from our difficulties and grant us healing for our illnesses, remove our debts from us and provide for us. O Lord, free our brothers and sisters in oppressed lands, grant them ease and send to them those who will protect them and who will defend them. O Lord, free those who have been unjustly incarcerated and answer the call of the oppressed wherever they May be.

O Lord, keep our hearts softened towards our fellow human beings and help us to be of your sincere slaves.

There is None worthy of worship except Allah, The One and Only, He has no partner, For Him is the Dominion and for him is All Praise, and He has Power over all things. May Allah’s Peace, Blessings and Mercy be upon Muhammad ibn Abdullah, His Family, His companions and those who follow them in rightenousness until the Final hour.

Farewell O Ramadhan, farewell O month of Fasting, farewell O month of Standing in Prayer, farewell O month of the Quran, farewell O month of Mercy, farewell O month of Forgiveness. Al Widaa, Al Widaa, Yaa Ramadhan.
